It has a capacity for 4 quarts of water and is made of stainless steel (cabinet and lid) construction. It comes with a dry heating element that does not self-destruct if the unit runs out of water, which is important for the longevity of the machine. The steamer is brightly colored and has hot dog graphics on both sides so that you can position the machine and attract customers from both sides. The water pan is located above the heating element so that it can easily be removed to be emptied and cleaned. It is important to note that for safety reasons you must allow the water in the pan to cool before removing the pan to be cleaned. The lids and inner parts of the machine are also removable for easy cleaning. The machine is 19 ¼” high, 19 ¼” wide and 16 ¼” in length.
